Put the Doctor’s Name and Role First

Start with the name patients use to address the doctor, following your practice’s display-name convention. Put a short role or specialty below it. Keep the clinic logo smaller than the name, and use dark text against a light background so the badge is readable without relying on color alone. Check the longest physician name when choosing a size.

Sample Badge Text for Your Practice

A general practice badge could read “Dr. Maya Chen” with “Family Medicine.” A specialist might use “Jordan Patel, MD” with “Cardiology.” A dental office might choose “Dr. Alex Morgan” with “Dentist.” These are sample layouts; use each person’s accurate credentials and your practice’s preferred wording. Avoid squeezing a long list of qualifications into small text.

Prepare Your Logo and Physician List

Gather the clinic logo and check every physician’s name, credentials, and title before entering the list. The logo step accepts PNG, JPG, SVG, or PDF files up to 10 MB. Use a clear original rather than a screenshot. The name-list step accepts CSV, TXT, or XLSX; follow its name-and-title format, and put any additional layout requirements in the artwork notes.

Choose an Attachment for Lab Coats or Scrubs

Choose a badge type and size before selecting a fastener. The creator shows compatible standard attachments for that configuration. A magnet avoids a pin piercing the garment; a pin attaches through fabric. Check the wearer’s preferences and your practice’s requirements. Ask our team if the attachment you need is not offered for the badge you selected.

What Should We Check in the Proof?

Compare spelling, credentials, and specialties against the approved staff list. Check logo placement, spacing, and long names at the intended badge size. Confirm that the displayed role is understandable to patients. Request corrections during proof review before approving production.
