Choosing Dimensions and Visual Proportions

Selecting the right badge shape and size depends on the amount of information you need to display. Classic rectangular dimensions offer balanced space for an emblem beside two lines of text. Larger badge sizes allow room for detailed logos, three lines of text, or dual-language titles without overcrowding the visual area.

Suggested Custom Badge Text Formats

Corporate executive format: Line 1 reads 'Alexander Wright', Line 2 reads 'Creative Director'. Retail service format: Line 1 reads 'Samantha Ortiz', Line 2 reads 'Store Operations | Team Lead'. Technical specialist layout: Line 1 reads 'Benjamin Clark', Line 2 reads 'Systems Architect'. Generous negative space around lettering ensures superior legibility.

Preparing High-Resolution Artwork and Name Lists

High-resolution artwork makes a substantial difference in the finished product. We recommend uploading vector graphics (SVG or PDF) or high-density PNG files. Provide employee names and titles in an organized list, verifying punctuation and capitalization so that every badge accurately reflects your organization's standards.

Compatible Fasteners and Pre-Production Proof Review

Choose your badge type and size first so the creator can show compatible standard attachments. A magnet avoids a pin piercing the garment; a pin attaches through fabric. Check the wearer’s preferences and workplace requirements, and ask our team if the attachment you need is not shown. For printed custom badges, review the name spelling, role, logo placement, and spacing in your proof before approving production.
